What is love reach?
Love Reach is when our church intentionally seeks opportunities to serve others in our community. We blitz our neighborhoods and communities with acts of service throughout the year! Our goal is to offer projects throughout the year.
What does "CONTACT = IMPACT" mean?
It simply means that we can't expect to have the chance to influence people's lives for Jesus if we're not spending time with them and developing relationships with them! Only when we invest in people's lives can we have the opportunity to speak the truth into their lives when it matters!
What are we trying to accomplish?
We're trying to accomplish several things. First, we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those that we serve. Second, we're exposing our church family to the needs of our community and helping fulfill those needs. We do this through strategic partnerships with various not-for-profit organizations in our community. Our goal is to come alongside them to ask, "What can we do to help you?". Third, we desire that our service through Love Reach becomes a lifestyle for our church family...not just a once or twice-a-year kind of thing but a LIFE of service to others!
What are you expecting of me?
We desire that every family at Crossroads will consider signing up to help serve on at least one community project! You're welcome to sign up for more than one project! *Most projects are family-friendly, so we encourage you to involve everyone in your family!
What organizations do we partner with for Love Reach?
Crossroads has strategically partnered with six community organizations that cover very different segments of life in Marshal County. These partnerships help educate our church family about the unique needs in our community.
